process FAQ
I've decided to sell my house. What now?

The first step to selling is setting an appointment with your Dimora agent, so we can get the ball rolling. We'll discuss your goals and timelines to make sure that we can price and market your house perfectly for the sale you want. We'll navigate and plan any preparations we need to make for your house to sell as quickly and at as high a price as possible, and we'll do it with your goals in mind.

I have to sell before I buy. How does that work?

There are lots of options when a property needs to sell before the owners can buy their next home. To decide which one makes most sense for you, we will sit down and look at financial and logistic elements. Whether you need a bridge loan, short-term rental, or contingent sales contracts for your next purchase, we can set you up with the perfect supports to make your real estate goals come true.

How can I get the most out of selling my home?

It's important to make it as easy as possible for buyers to picture themselves living in your house. For that reason, consider cosmetic changes that are low cost, but high impact, like covering vivid paint colors with neutral ones, removing clutter and wear, and making sure every element of the property (from blinds to flower beds) are as tidy and well-maintained as possible.

Even though it is important to present the house as well as you can, making major changes or improvements at the last minute can be costly and time-consuming, which may delay the process or eat into profits. Make sure that you are considering updates to ensure that every change is worth the effort (and the money)! Your Dimora agent is happy to help you decide if something is in need of action or better left as is: feel free to ask us!
